Ph.D. candidate
Dept. of Linguistics
University of New Mexico
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Linguistics at the University of New Mexico. In my research, I mainly focus on testing exemplar models of lexical representation for the purposes of understanding language acquisition, language variation, and language change, especially in bilingual populations. Most often, I test predictions of these models with phonological and morphosyntactic variables.

My Ph.D. coursework and research has largely been funded through the Joseph H. Greenberg Endowed Research Fellowship. For the final year of my Ph.D. (finishing May 2026), I will also receive support from the Bilinski Foundation Fellowship as one of their 2025 fellows. Support for the final year of my Ph.D. is also provided by the UNM Center for Regional Studies Doctoral Fellowship.
